The long period of conflict that followed, however, had a profound impact on agriculture, infrastructure, and production capacity. Many plantations fell into decline, and the coffee industry lost much of its former strength. Despite these challenges, coffee remained deeply rooted in Angola’s heritage – in the land, in the communities, and in the traditions of families who had cultivated it for generations.
Boa Terra aims to contribute to the revival and further development of Angola’s coffee sector. We do so with respect for the past and a clear vision for the future.
Our mission is to:
Support agriculture and plantations
Through sustainable collaboration with local farmers, knowledge sharing, and investments in quality.
Create new opportunities throughout the value chain
From plantation to espresso bar, from green bean to roasted coffee – ensuring that as much value as possible is built locally.
Unite craft and modern coffee culture
With high-quality roasted coffee, training programmes, and the promotion of a vibrant coffee scene in Angola.
Offer honest and transparent partnerships
Where farmers, team members and customers can rely on sincerity, quality and long-term commitment.
Boa Terra believes in Angola’s potential as a coffee-producing nation. Together with our partners, we are building a future in which Angolan coffee regains its rightful place on the world stage – and in which local communities can grow, flourish and take pride in their product.
